What LUMGEX is — and what LUMGEX is not

What LUMGEX is
LUMGEX is a small Netherlands-based business (KvK 96772875). The customer-facing product is the LUMGEX Intelligence Report, a source-backed Documentation Readiness Roadmap delivered as a PDF for one product/listing context or ASIN on one selected Amazon EU marketplace. Delivery is asynchronous, within the SLA listed on the product page.
The Intelligence Report helps sellers understand:
- Which documentation areas Amazon EU may ask about for that product family and marketplace.
- Which documents sellers may need to request from a manufacturer or supplier.
- Which fields, identifiers, or attestations sellers may need to verify.
- Which translations sellers may need to prepare (LUMGEX does not translate; the report identifies the gap).
- Which labels or markings sellers may need to consider.
- Which areas need a physical check of the product (and that LUMGEX cannot perform that check).
- When sellers should consult a qualified professional — a lawyer, an accredited lab, a Notified Body, a Responsible Person provider, or a specialised compliance advisor.
All findings are anchored, where possible, in official sources: EU regulations and consolidated EU law, European Commission guidance, national authorities in the LUMGEX-supported countries, official EU registers, and Amazon’s own published seller-facing pages.
LUMGEX-supported countries: NL, DE, FR, IT, ES, SE, PL, AT, IE, PT.
What LUMGEX is not
How sellers should use the Intelligence Report
A typical flow:
- Order the Intelligence Report for one product/listing context or ASIN and one selected Amazon EU marketplace.
- Receive the report asynchronously (no calls; no meetings).
- Read the roadmap to see which documentation areas to investigate.
- Take the actions the seller chooses to take — for example, request documents from a supplier, prepare translations, plan label updates, consult a lawyer, contact an accredited lab, or engage a Responsible Person provider.
- Decide what to do on Amazon based on the information gathered and any professional advice obtained.
LUMGEX is intentionally an async, document-only service. No calls or meetings are part of the report.
When sellers should consult a qualified professional
Please consult an appropriate professional if you need:
- For legal advice on a specific situation, contract, liability, or dispute → consult a qualified lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction.
- For conformity assessment, certification, or EU-type examination of a product → engage a Notified Body appropriate for the relevant EU directive (the NANDO database lists them).
- For product testing → engage an accredited laboratory with the right scope of accreditation.
- For EU representation → engage a Responsible Person provider that fits the relevant product scope.
- For VAT, OSS/IOSS, or fiscal-representative services → consult a tax professional.
- For account-level Amazon disputes or seller-account escalations → consult an Amazon-specialised advisor or your lawyer.
